How to help a month after Sandy

Whether it is by biking through boroughs or slinging drinks at a bar, New Yorkers are still helping city residents a month later.
Environmental group Time’s UP! has been leading bike caravans to the Rockaways for weeks.
The group meets in Williamsburg and Clinton Hill and brings blankets, food and medical supplies to the Rockaways by bikes. They also delivered charging stations on two wheels.
Occupy Wall Street, which has organized their members to coordinate recovery efforts, is still collecting food and cleaning supplies and organizing drop offs in the Rockaways and Red Hook. The group also set up wedding registries, where people from afar can purchase and send needed items.
