Your Community Garden needs volunteers!
You’ll be helping to beautify and maintain the garden by pulling weeds, planting bulbs, moving dirt, and more. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for ways to get involved with the community or simply spend afternoon in the urban outdoors.
This year Time’s up is focusing on three different gardens for our Garden Greenup Days, Green Oasis, La Plaza, and Carmen’s Garden when you show up to the Garden Greenup Days please dress appropriately and try not to bring too many valuables, these Gardens are all run by volunteers and we will do our best to secure your belongings but this is in an outdoor public garden that is not regularly patrolled by the police or the park department, so please be aware of security issues or if your stuff gets stolen, please contact one of our volunteer coordinators Mella LaFrance or Bill Di Paola.
