2:00 pm – Bike Ride, Washington Square Park, under the Arch
3:00 pm – After Party & Adoption Event, Washington Square Park, near the dog run
All are welcome, you don’t need a pet to attend!
Bring your dog and bicycle to the 5th annual Time’s Up! Doggie Pedal Parade!
We will ride our dogs (or any pets that can ride comfortably and safe) in baskets and trailers attached to our bikes, listen to tunes playing on the “music bike”, and end back at Washington Square Park for a party complete with free snacks and beverages for all.
The ride will highlight bicycles adapted to transport pets (see information on the 5/19 Pup Your Ride workshop below) as well as the benefits of adopting homeless animals. Animal rescue groups will be there with dogs available for adoption.
If you don’t have a dog you’re still encouraged to come on the ride. If you don’t ride a bike, you and your pet can still join us at the end-of-the-ride party near the Washington Square dog run, starting at approximately 3:00 pm.
To prevent any Ruff Riding and for the fun and safety of the group, non-social pets are asked to stay at home. Rain date is Sunday, May 29, 2011.
