Spring is finally here! Wrap up Earth Week and join the Human Impacts Institute Crew on a free bike tour up the Brooklyn coast of the East River. Participants must provide their own bike, helmet, water, and any other necessary personal items. Youth are welcome with adult supervision. 

The tour will stop at various iconic locations where a special guest speaker will give a different talk about the East River waterfront, including: 
Brooklyn Bridge Park: Connecting the Waterfront w/Sustainable Transportation w/Bill DiPaola, Times Up! 
Grand Ferry Park: Tracking Community Changes: Interactive Maps w/Wendy Brawer, Green Map System 
East River State Park: History of Our Brooklyn Waterfront, w/Parks Ranger, NYS Parks 
WNYC Transmitter Park: Life on the waterfront–plants and animals w/Jason Beury, NYC Parks Gardener 
Newtown Creek Nature Walk: Understanding combined sewer overflows and water pollution prevention
w/Korin Tangtrakul, SWIM Coalition
