To celebrate Spring and to defend New York’s beloved and once again endangered community gardens.  Dress as your favorite garden vegetable & bring noise to ensure these important green patches remain in our concrete jungle.

The 2002 deal to save the gardens is coming to an end and the city is dragging its feet.  Ten years ago we raised our voices, dressed like tomatoes and sunfloweres and fought for the gardens,  Today, the precious community assets are once again under threat of development.
