8/8 – Dance Ride, leaving Astor Place at 11:30 a.m.
8/22 – Dance Party at Astor Place starting at 11:00 a.m.

For the second annual Summer Streets extravaganza, seven miles of Manhattan streets will be free of cars and full of fun during three Saturdays in August (8, 15 & 22).  Join Time’s Up! at Astor Place to celebrate with many great events including bicycle decorating, bicycle repair, hula-hooping, music and lots of dancing! 

Beautify your bicycle in preparation for your stroll down car-free Park Avenue & the August 8th Dance Ride.  Feel free to bring your own props. We will also have decorations on hand.  Time’s Up! volunteer mechanics will be on hand if you need a quick bike repair.

Spread the word and bring your friends to this kids – dogs – bikes – everybody friendly event.  Let’s show the city how much fun we can have on car-free streets!
