Visit climate action and energy sites on the Green Map during this free @ClimateWeekNYC event. RSVP & request a Citi Bike at http://bit.ly/LER17gm. Take an exciting bicycle tour of energy innovation and climate action in Manhattan’s East Village, a riverside neighborhood impacted by Superstorm Sandy. On borrowed Citi Bikes, we’ll visit community gardens, a super-efficient retrofit building, a proposed community microgrid, historic solar and green infrastructure and many more sites on the Green Map! Join Green Map System’s director, Wendy Brawer, Passive House architect Paul Castrucci, La Plaza Cultural co-chair Marga Snyder, Beyond the Grid’s Paul Garrin, and guest speakers. See how the storm has changed this diverse community, and how it is progressing towards resiliency and regeneration! Meet at the Citi Bike station at 10th and Avenue A. Easy, mostly flat ride for up to 20 people. No bike? No problem. You can borrow a FREE Citi Bike (ages 16+), subject to availability. RSVP here: http://bit.ly/LER17gm to reserve your place and bike!  In case of rain, the ride is cancelled.
