This Future Positive New Year’s celebration is brought to you by two amazing all volunteer non-profit groups that have been partnering for five years and are celebrating together. The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space is celebrating its 5th anniversary. Time’s Up environmental organization, which has made so many sustainable positive changes in NYC, is celebrating its 30th year.
The New Year’s Eve bash will be held at the museum in legendary C-Squat, which is located at 155 Avenue C, LES, NYC. So put on your best dancing shoes and join us for this Future Positive start to 2018.
There will be slide shows by East Village activists/artists including Fly, and DJs spinning 80s dance music and live punk bands so you can jump off the stage to the new year in style. We will also have valet bike parking available and if you would like to you can join one of our free feeder New Year’s Eve bike rides, equipped with the latest sound bike technology. The bike rides will start at 9:30pm, New Year’s Eve. The beginning location in Manhattan will be the park in front of The Plaza Hotel (59th Street & 5th Ave), and the Brooklyn feeder ride will meet at the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg bridge at 10 PM.
