TIME'S UP! is a New York City-based not-for-profit direct-action environmental group that uses events and educational programs to promote a more sustainable, less toxic city.

YEAR IN REVIEW

Time's Up! had a massive year in 2011. From Clearwater, to Indian Point, to Occupy Wall Street, Time's Up! worked tirelessly to make NYC and the world more sustainable.

MORUS, THE MUSEUM OF RECLAIMED URBAN SPACE

Time's Up! is very excited to reveal the Crowdrise video for the East Village's hottest new project: MoRUS, The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space. Check out the NY Times article about the project.

TIMES UP! ENERGY BIKES OCCUPY WALL STREET

Time's Up! in conjunction with OWS Sustainable Working Group, created energy bikes to replace all the generators that were confiscated by the City from Occupy Wall Street (OWS) in 2011.  Read about Time's Up!

"SHUT DOWN INDIAN POINT" BIKE RIDE & SAIL ACTION

The environmental groups, Clearwater and Time’s Up! team up for an August 9th action including a 3-hr sail on the Hudson on the Clearwater Sloop to Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, with 50ft banners reading: "No Fukushima on the Hudson" and "Shut Down Indian Point Now!” to call for the permanent closure of the aging power plant. Cyclists from Time’s Up!

TIME'S UP! RADIO HOUR

Now, every Tuesday night from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM join Time's Up! hosts for a live radio program streaming through the Radio Hive website.

Time's Up! is run 100% by volunteers. Everything we do -- from organizing events to maintaining our website, fielding press inquiries and teaching bicycle workshops -- is done by volunteers who commit their time and energy to helping the environment by helping Time's Up!

Time's Up! is currently looking for more volunteers and organizers to help expand our events and campaigns. We have several volunteer positions open, including internships for college credit, Membership Database Manager, Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator and more. LOVE YOUR LANE CAMPAIGN

Time's Up! announces a new campaign called Love Your Lane, and all are invited to take part! The Love Your Lanetm campaign is designed to inspire community support for the positive new cycling infrastructure sprouting up all around New York City.

Help us promote respect and utilization of the exciting new green infrastructure and bicycling lanes created by the NYC Department of Transportation.
