Event Details :: Bike Repair Workshop: Basics

Title:../index.php?page=bike-co-op
Date:Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010
Time:6:30 PM
Location:156 Rivington St. (between Suffolk & Clinton St in Manhattan's Lower East Side) in the basement.
Summary:Basics for Beginners: Identifying parts and tools, diagnosing common problems and things you should know before buying a bike. We will also cover how to change tires and fix flats.
Details:The first Tuesday of every month focuses on the basics. Classes are free and open to all levels of experience and expertise. There's no need to do the classes in order, or go to the beginner's class before any others.

As always, people can use the tools to repair their own bikes, though they cannot expect guidance for the mechanics. People who want to work on their own bikes and need the help of a mechanic should come to the Open Workshop every Thursday nite.

Workshop may last shorter than 2 hours.
