What to bring: clown outfit, good cheers, a few pies, and your bikeThis Saturday come join the Times Up! Bike Lane Clowns as they liberate the new bike lanes throughout the city. The clowns will be warning drivers parked in the bike lanes to beware the Ides of March. While cyclists are beaming with joy over all the new bike lanes, the NYPD has yet to fully enforce the traffic law that prohibits any motor vehicle from parking and idling in the bike lanes. Betrayal is everywhere on the Pies of March ride. We will need to beware as the NYPD use whipped cream pies to thwart the Bike Lane Liberation Clowns' mission of demonstrating the environmental damage caused by polluting transportation and celebrating the beauty of bike riding.
